How to put photos online correctly

Before you upload your photos, be sure to resize them in Photoshop. Use these steps:

• Open your photo in Photoshop
• Resize the photo via the menu Image -> Image size.
• Set ‘Width’ to 800 pixels for a ‘Landscape’ photo, or 600 for a ‘Portrait’ (standing) photo.
• Click Ok
• Then choose the menu: File -> Save for Web & Devices
• Make sure that the pulldown box on the right is showing ‘JPEG’, and set the one below that to ‘Medium’
• Press ‘Save’

How to post a video

Export your video from Premiere via the menu:

• -> File > Export > Adobe Media Encoder
• On the right side of the new dialog window, choose as the format: ‘Adobe Flash Video’
• Below that, Choose preset: ‘NTSC source to 512kbps’
• Export it to your harddisk

Now put it on Youtube:

• Login to Youtube (get an account if you need)
• Press the yellow ‘Upload’ button
• Fill in the form
• Press ‘Upload Video’
• Press ‘Browse’
• Selet your video
• Press ‘Upload Video’
• Wait…
• If you have a problem, press ‘Click here if you are having problems with the uploader’ and try again
• Then copy the code of your video. It looks like this: 2kTvJMZxreY
• Most of the times, you can find it in the address when watching the video. E.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kTvJMZxreY

Now, use it in the Chisinau Online system:

• Create a new Post in the editor
• Then, in the ‘Video’ box below your posting, add this:
  http://www.youtube.com/v/
• and paste the code of your video behind it. So it looks like this, but with another code of course: http://www.youtube.com/v/2kTvJMZxreY
• Now add your categories, and add the category ‘Video’ to this post.
• Save!
• If should work now
