How to put photos online correctly

Before you upload your photos, be sure to resize them in Photoshop. Use these steps:
- Open your photo in Photoshop
- Resize the photo via the menu Image -> Image size.
- Set ‘Width’ to 800 pixels for a ‘Landscape’ photo, or 600 for a ‘Portrait’ (standing) photo.
- Click Ok
- Then choose the menu: File -> Save for Web & Devices
- Make sure that the pulldown box on the right is showing ‘JPEG’, and set the one below that to ‘Medium’
- Press ‘Save’
